Natural Gas Refueling Stations Market 2017 Growth, Opportunities, Analysis and Forecast to 2021

(EnergyIndustry.Net, September 25, 2017 ) Natural gas is produced using conventional or renewable method. It is a clean-burning alternative fuel in the transportation sector and must be compressed or liquefied for use in vehicles. In most cases, CNG is supplied to the refueling stations via the existing natural gas distribution and is compressed at the station. LNG is cooled and stored in its liquid state and must be converted to gas again for use in vehicles. CNG is primarily used in light and medium vehicles and to some extent used in heavy-duty vehicles. CNG refueling stations are more common than LNG refueling stations. Since the use of LNG is limited but not restricted to long haul vehicles, fleet operators prefer having their own (private) LNG refueling infrastructure.

Publisher's analysts forecast the global natural gas refueling stations market to grow at a CAGR of 4.17% during the period 2017-2021.
