(EnergyIndustry.Net, August 05, 2013 ) Holts Summit, MO -- The PowerSafe LifeTool was designed to provide the user with emergency tools they need at their desk, bedside, in the car, walking through a dark parking lot, or just outdoors camping, hiking or fishing. This is designed to be portable security system for emergency situations that may arise.

Don Carter, Co-founder, DTC Life Tools states "We like the PowerSafe LifeTool because it provides security while also being handy, and fun. Whether for personal security, multiple everyday uses, or as the right thing to grab in the middle of the night, you will be glad you have this device nearby. It even has a radio to help you stay informed."

The PowerSafe LifeTool is rechargeable by solar power, USB port, and a dynamo hand crank; it will never need batteries. There are 12 LED lights that act as a cool desk lamp or as a spotlight. With an LED warning light and siren users can summon help. There is a radio built-in to listen to music, the weather or emergency broadcasts and a 3 LED flashlight to help users see their way clearly.

This solar powered desk lamp was designed to provide the user with tools they may need in their vehicle or at home, whether they live in a city or in a very rural area.

Carter suggests, "Imagine breaking down on a remote highway at night or, worse, injured in the wilderness while hiking. The siren, the flashlight and the LED spotlight are great for getting attention at long distances. The radio can help to monitor weather. Because it doesn't require batteries, it is always ready to use when you need it."

There are 12 LED lights that act as a floodlight to work under the hood of the vehicle, change a tire, or to attract attention. Placed on the back of a dark car, it can signal drivers to pay attention and avoid the vehicle. With an LED warning light and siren, users can summon help.

A USB charger can charge both the LifeTool and to let the LifeTool charge a mobile phone or other USB charged device. Cell phones can be charged using the dynamo hand crank, guaranteeing that phones are always available in an emergency.

Carter points out, "One thing that sets us apart at DTC LifeTools is our customer service - we stand behind our PowerSafe LifeTool by providing a limited 3 year guarantee. If your PowerSafe fails in any of its functions within 3 year, under normal use, contact us and we will replace it free of charge."
